September 10th was a beautiful day on the course and for Steve Richmond and Jim Stefanich it was smokin hot. Steve shot the low tournament round with a one under net 71 and Jim added an even par net 72. Throughout the day they did what good teammates do by picking each other up as they fired a net 59 in America's Golf Tour first team event.
The lead for Steve and Jim was only 2 shots at the turn, but starting on the 10th hole it was lights out from there. They went three under on the first three holes of the back nine to take a 5 shot lead and kept their games under control the rest of the way.
